its a real place. it just does'nt harbor the remains of aliens. Its also not used anymore because of all the publicity

Some of the civilian workers there said that there was something very secret in there classified stuff. Not just the experimental crafts but other things like they were trying to reverse engineer the items that could have been found.
Part of the reason it closed was because they disposed of toxic waste by burning it and it messed up the land and air around it.
